Within the Hadley group we have our own Hadley Group Technology center which offering a complete bespoke product innovation service, encompassing product design, research & development, and prototype testing pre-transition to high volume manufacturing.

Hadley Group's roll forming know-how gives us the edge when it comes to solving customers' problems. Taking a 'partnership' approach, we have the skills and capabilities to take your new product ideas and develop them until we arrive at the best performing and most cost-effective solution ready for market.

The scope for new cold rolled formed products is almost limitless. And as new markets and applications emerge, our role as innovators within the cold rolled sections industry continues to evolve.

Computer simulation tools developed in-house enable us to determine the strain, forming angle, spring back, shear and ge\odesic movement during the cold roll forming process. Having established these parameters, we can develop contour plots that reveal how the material flows through the rolls and the levels of strain placed upon it as the shape of the profile is progressively formed.

Such tooling enables our designers to optimise the number of stations within the cold roll forming process; reducing design and manufacturing time.

It's the combination of the latest technology, creativity and decades of design and manufacturing experience that enables us to prototype, refine, test and test again until we reach the most effective solution, no matter how complex or intricate. Once agreed, high or low volume manufacturing enables us to tailor-make products to our customers' specific needs.

As pioneers of the patented UltraSTEELĀ® process - which can be applied to virtually any cold rolled formed section or product - Hadley Group can deliver equal strength from a lighter gauge material. This results in a more cost-effective end product, that's stronger and greener by design.
